Claire Coutinho MP for East Surrey is the new Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero!
She previously served as Minister for Children, Families and Wellbeing and Minister for Disabled People, Health and Work.
Yesterday Prime Minister Rishi Sunak reshuffled his cabinet. Grant Shapps MP – the previous DESNZ Secretary – is now the Secretary for State for Defence and David Johnston OBE MP is now the Minister for Children Families and Wellbeing. Mr Johnston also serves as the Chair of the APPG on Community Energy.
