Kingston Council, in line with their goal of achieving net zero for council operations by 2030 and for the wider borough by 2038 have just launched Green Grants. These grants are open to not-for-profit organisations (local, regional, national etc) to enable climate action across Kingston.
“We are working hard to meet the borough’s climate targets, but know that there’s much to be done and that we cannot do it alone. Kingston is fortunate to have so many enterprising and passionate communities, and it is our intention that the new grant will help to bring their ideas to life and contribute to a greener future for everyone.”
Councillor Ian Mander, Portfolio Holder for Climate Action and Sustainable Transport
