Fuel poverty Workshop 1: The challenge and action we can take

Sign up now

Over the past few months we have seen a doubling of the cost of heating of an average home compared to last year, pushing a further 500,000 more households pushed into fuel poverty across the country.

Over the same period, those on the lowest incomes and households that contain someone with a long-term illness or disability that reduces their ability to work have seen their income drop by over £1000 per year.

  • Are you a community energy group who would like to deliver energy advice, but find it a bit of a maze?
  • Or an individual who would like to be a catalyst for positive change in your local community but not sure where to start?
  • Maybe are you a community, faith or environmental group who wants to do more to help Londoners with energy costs in the current crisis?

What is fuel poverty anyway?

If any of this strikes a chord in you then this is the session for you. Register here.

You’ll hear from sector specialists, meet others on a similar road and come away with useful tips.

Come along to learn the five ways you can go away with immediately to help others after this session.
